Let’s do the timeline, again

Bit of a gap since May as been very busy with the old Cranleigh Village Hospital now called the Napper Centre. I normally advise on timelines for print like A5 leaflets. For the Napper Centre I was asked to create a timeline involving the 580 year old cottage history, it’s medical impact and some highlights of the local Cranleigh village. Already a lot of information. The other challenge was also to find somebody to paint the timeline on a 350 year old wall. With timbers.

This timeline, or chronology, started with a volunteer’s Excel spreadsheet 6 months ago with much detail. Part of the process was asking a local primary school to help edit with mural artists K&B Design. After the school suggestions I then edited during July with K&B Design and the Cranleigh Heritage Trust. Nine edits later this is what emerged this August. And I hope it will become a useful story telling tool for the volunteer guides.
